Formal business patrons and freelancers alike fill the seats along the bar, so different in their attire but sharing the same maverick attitude only The Envoy can attract.

This gradient from morning to night time ambiance is perhaps the best metaphor for Duane Street’s bar offerings. The menu ranges from high-end cocktails to IPAs from breweries just a stone’s throw away. Though the spectrum in the menu might feel as though the bar is trying to please everyone, it feels more like an invitation to explore.

Perhaps one of my favorite elements of photographing couples is breaking down the awkwardness that all couples feel when getting their picture taken. Once Jovanna and Dennis became comfortable with the camera, the smiles were natural and therefore contagious.
